Trexon expands its solutions portfolio with the strategic acquisition of ConexSmart, LLC

Boston, MA – July 2nd, 2024 – Trexon, a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity and an established provider of specialty connectivity solutions for mission-critical applications, announced today that it has successfully completed the acquisition of ConexSmart.

ConexSmart is an AS9100 certified business specializing in the manufacturing of wire harnesses, RF cable assemblies, fiber optics, production kitting, Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), and on-aircraft modification services to the Aerospace and Defense industry. Headquartered in Colorado, with a second production facility in Florida, ConexSmart’s solutions complement Trexon’s existing portfolio while offering the potential for Trexon to enter new markets. This acquisition highlights Trexon’s unwavering commitment to Aerospace and Defense.

Regarding the addition of ConexSmart to the Trexon team, Mark Twaalfhoven, President and CEO of Trexon, stated:
