12 Feb ConexSmart Welcomes New Vice President & General Manager

ConexSmart is proud to welcome its new Vice President and General Manager, Zachary Payne. As an 8-year US Army combat veteran, Zach also has over 20 years’ experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry. He most recently served in progressing roles from Project Manager through Senior Program Manager at Ball Aerospace and has also worked at General Dynamics Information Technologies and Anteon Corporation. Zach is a University of Phoenix alum, where he earned his B.S. and MBA.

The need for this new role was recently identified to support the company’s continued rapid growth. Zach will oversee all aspects of Production, Logistics, and Operations to ensure the successful execution of the company’s overarching objectives. Exceeding the customer’s dynamic needs continues to be a high priority for the company. 

“I am excited to contribute to the ongoing trajectory of ConexSmart! I look forward to leading the team toward continued success and growth. I knew this was a great fit for me, my family and the company when I met Kevin, Keith and Shawn,” Zach stated when asked about his new role.

In his spare time, Zach enjoys writing novels, shooting, traveling and spending time with his wife and three children.
